Wall

Nothing quite like skijoring next to an 8+ foot wall of snow!
Look to the right in this shot... An 8+ foot wall of snow!
That is some serious snowpack in areas at Rabbit Ears Pass!

Rabbit Ears Pass has a great mix of wide open terrain and runs through the forest. See for yourself...

Wide open and white as far as the eye can see. Winter Wonderland!
Flying on a trail through the snow covered trees - wheeee!

The temperature at the trailhead was 3F. Some might think that was cold (I did) while some might not (Max did not):
"So hot today, rolling a snow angel to cool off!" demonstrates silly Max.
"The antics I must put up with to get some exercise!" states 'ready to go' Zorro.

A great day laying fresh tracks in 1-3 inches of snow all over Rabbit Ears Pass: 8.9 miles traveled with 750 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 20 MPH.

2015/2016 Season to Date: 69 days on the trails covering 583.5 miles with 62150 feet of elevation climbed.
