Season Recap

Our annual "July tradition"...
Putting together a video highlight reel of the most recent skijor season.

Our last skijor outing of the 2016/2017 season was June 13th. Well, it is one month later and we are anxiously awaiting the start of the 2017/2018 season (in Sept or Oct). What better way to entertain ourselves in the dog days of summer than to relive the last skijoring season!

So, here you go - the 2016/2017 Season in Review, appropriately sync'd to Molly Hatchet's "Flirtin' With Disaster"
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

The final "summary shot" from the video:

Pray for snow as we wait to get back on the trails in September or October!

  1. Good video Brad! Do you have any input into where the dogs go, or do they just take you where they want to go like a hot air balloon? :)

    1. Ha - not a balloon (although it does feel like it sometimes). Max & Zorro know and obey all the following commands: right, left, easy (slow down), faster, wait, leave it, over to the right, over to the left and forward.

The only exception is if there is a moose on the trail in which case all commands are discarded and I have to plant myself in a snowbank and act as an anchor until the moose is out of sight :)
