Better

After two relatively short skijor outings due to the unnecessary human, we were back to our normal distance outings this morning. "Now that's better!" said Max & Zorro.
"He hasn't said 'turnaround' yet, he hasn't said 'turnaround' yet! Oh boy!" yells Max to Zorro as
we zoom along the fast trail while getting in a 10 mile run this morning.
We had a full range of conditions on the trails this morning. It was packed with soft shoulders and middle trail in mid French Gulch:
Flying along as Max & Zorro are each in a packed track while I have one ski in the soft
middle (for control) and one ski in Max's trail (for speed). Wheeee!
As usual, we eventually out-skied existing tracks and found ourselves laying fresh tracks in about 2 inches of powder in upper French Gulch:
Nobody but us Siberians this far out in French Gulch.
Lower French Gulch was, well... a SPEEDWAY! Just how fast was the track? Watch today's short video clip of us speeding in lower French Gulch to get a feeling for the fast trail. Zoom!
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

Finally, having our typical fun bringing smiles to the face of people we fly by!
"Hi, bye...." say Max & Zorro to the smiling people watching them zoom on by.

After 2 short outings, back to distance Max & Zorro prefer: 10.2 miles traveled with 900 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 24 MPH.

2016/2017 Season to Date: 99 days on the trails covering 820.0 miles with 88,400 feet of elevation climbed.
