Wow

We had a freshly groomed snowmobile atop Rabbit Ears Pass to ourselves all morning long!
Wow, What a Day!!!!!
Pretty much the entire day looked like this - a freshly groomed sprint track
all to ourselves!
Today's video highlight is the start of our morning run. We start as Nancy has just released her hold on the three beasts. All three quickly launch forward and align to take off. You can a handful of snowmobile tracks over the groomed trail as everyone moves right to get on the groomed track. After about 30 seconds, all snowmobiles disappear from the groomed trail and we had this untouched groomie zoomie all to ourselves the rest of the outing. Wow, what a day!

A little further along and...
Here we are gliding in & out of sun & shadows with the fresh groom all to ourselves!
A little further along and...
Fresh groom all to ourselves as we glide in & out of some curves on the trail. Wheeee!
Oh boy, what a day! My partners were flying all over the beautiful groomed trail. We did an "out & back" on the Buffalo Park trail atop Rabbit Ears. Time to turnaround, everyone having fun?
"Oh my, we ARE having FUN!!!!!" declare the happy trio at our turnaround point of
the outing.
But, wait, did you say "turnaround"? Hold on...
"Gotta roll snow angels to cool off first!" declare the silly youngsters.
"<sigh>, children... <sigh>!" adds mature Zorro :)
A ridiculously fast day on absolutely perfect terrain: 6.9 miles traveled with 500 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 22 MPH.

2018/2019 Season to Date: 75 days on the trails covering 406.9 miles with 36,100 feet of elevation climbed.
