Z Ball

Can you believe this "vertical separation" Zorro the "flying z ball" has in this photo! Wow!
Max towing me along the fast trail while Zorro simply floats 2-3 feet off the ground :)
If there is a world record for "vertical separation from the ground achieved through the force of sprinting", then I think Zorro set the record in the prior photo. I have never seen him with such airborne sprinting lift. Impressive!

Trail conditions were incredible on the trails at Rabbit Ears Pass this morning. Perfect snow, perfect terrain and perfect skijoring partners. Here's a beautiful wide angle shot of the conditions:
Zipping along a fast trail with white as far as the eye can see! Wheeee!
Every direction we turned presented immaculate conditions to run, run, run....
Perfect! Zoom!
All that running with a bright sun meant Max was ready to roll snow angels to cool off at our turnaround point of the morning:
"Ahhh, need to cool my jets before restarting the fast run back!" demonstrates silly Max.

Perfect conditions with a world record "sprint lift" from Zorro: 9.3 miles traveled with 800 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 24 MPH.

2016/2017 Season to Date: 95 days on the trails covering 787.7 miles with 85,200 feet of elevation climbed.
