Peaceful Forest Tour

Today's skijor outing was a quiet and peaceful tour through the forest.
Circling around at our turnaround point of the outing.
"What a fun time trotting through the trees!" says happy Max.
"You sure we need to turn around? I could keep going!" states intense little Zorro.

Not a groomed piece of terrain all day as we went deep into the forest on seldom used trails. It was a "trot & jog" day enjoying the outdoors all to ourselves...

Trotting up a slight incline as we wind through the trees.
Opening up the throttle on an open straightaway.
Back to a gentle trot as we follow a single set of existing ski tracks.
Glide & trot for miles & miles - wheeee!

A quick stop for Max to roll a snow angel to cool off. Notice the huge chunk of snow in his mouth - roll an angel while chomping snowcones, very talented!
"You're strange bro!" says Zorro watching Max play in the snow...

As the pictures show - a peaceful day in the forest covering 7.7 miles with 1000 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 18 MPH.

2013/2014 Season to Date: 108 days on the trails covering 927.2 miles with 108,050 feet of elevation climbed.
