Back on Track

Back on Track, phew!
"Wheeee - so fun to sprint along a layer of fresh snow!" demonstrate the airborne pair.

The human caught some kind of sickness and we had been off the trails for the last 5 days! Well, finally "on the mend" and it was back to fun runs after our 5 day hiatus. 5 days of walks instead of runs meant the Siberians were ready to go!

"We've got you covered - you just stand there, we'll do the work!" say the happily sprinting
pair. This was the view most of the day as Max & Zorro were ready to get back to work
on the trails.

It was hard to pick just one video clip to exemplify the day and even harder to trim the clip to a modest 30 seconds. But, here we go - my favorite video excerpt from the day:
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

I can never get enough "cornering clips" of Max & Zorro. Even though I am there, getting launched through tight corners, it is always fun to get home and watching the "cornering clips" again!
Lean to the left as we sprint into a tight left corner.

It was a happy time back on track for everyone all day:
"Hi! You doing ok? We are having a blast!" says cute little Zorro glancing back to
check on me as we cruise along French Gulch.
"I agree with your renewed health!" states happy Max at the end of the day's run.

We kept the outing short to make sure I did not slip back off track; but any run is a fun run! 6.7 miles with 650 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 24 MPH.

2013/2014 Season to Date: 101 days on the trails covering 863.3 miles with 100,800 feet of elevation climbed.
