Flying Z

Quick stop to check our time out on the trails - everyone having a good time?
"YES!!!" exclaims happy young Rudy.
"You bet, let's keep going!" adds smiling Zorro.
"A blaast!" says happy Jack.
Today's skijor photos are going to blow you away.  We were on the main snowmobile trail by Walton Peak at Rabbit Ears Pass. The trail had been recently groomed with just a few snowmobiles riding the trail before us. Zorro got on the "groomie zoomie" today and was really "feeling it". Remember Zorro is just 2 weeks past 11.5 years old. Keep that in mind as we showcase the Flying Z below :)

Wow - look at Flying Z!!!!! Zorro and I were riding the untouched groomed track to the left while Jack & Rudy ran fast in a snowmobile track. Impressive Flying Z plus impressive "sprint tucked" Jack & Rudy and fun "snow poofs" behind all!
Flying Z alongside fast running Jack & Rudy.
If you think the prior photo was an impressive 11.5 year old Flying Z, well take a look at the next shot:
Wow Z, just plain WOW!!!!! Flying Z - wheeee!
Now come along for some video fun from the day. Everyone is running in the untouched groomed right side of the trail. A real Groomie Zoomie!!!!
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

Time to turnaround and, well, guess what?
"They are at it again!" says Zorro.
I know Zorro, I know - what a couple of goofballs!
End of a day of Flying Z and time for 'end of run' treats:
"I earned mine today!" says focused Zorro.
"He really is an impressive role model!" adds cute Rudy.
"Yes, wish we could all fly like Z!" adds happy Jack.
A super impressive day of Flying Z atop Rabbit Ears Pass: 5.3 miles traveled with 500 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 21 MPH.

2019/2020 Season to Date: 42 days on the trails covering 279.1 miles with 27,600 feet of elevation climbed.
