Winter Wonderland

Another fun "shot from the front" of the happy trio end this morning's fun skijor run!
All smiles as the trio tows me to the finish - wheeee!
We did a "split skijor" on Walton Peak at Rabbit Ears Pass this morning. We started with Jack & Rudy towing me quickly for 6+ miles out & back the main trail. The further we ascended, the thicker the morning fog became around us:
Moving quickly amidst a thickening fog.
You might wonder if the comical antics from the youngsters are for their own enjoyment or to entertain Zorro. Well, the usual comedy routines happened before we added Zorro into the team. There wasn't really any question if their antics are for their own amusement, was there?

A quick pause on the trail and Jack did his "rodent dunk" into the deep side snow and Rudy did his typical "rodent dive" to follow Jack into the rodent search :)
"Dunk - where are the rodents?!?" asks submerging Jack.
"Incoming!!!!!" adds expert rodent diver Rudy.
An "out & back" meant we had to stop and turnaround before adding Zorro in the fun. Well stopped and you guessed it: "the roll around before turnaround" comedy show:
"We are turning, just rolling along the way!" demonstrate the snow rolling goofballs.
Finally, we added Zorro for an additional 3 mile "out & back". By the time we had Zorro along, the fog had recessed and we found ourselves skijoring amongst a winter wonderland of snow covered trees.
Beautiful snow covered trees.
Beautiful fast running sled dogs.
Here we go with today's video highlight as we wind our way through the snow covered trees decorating Walton Peak this morning. Wheeee!
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]
