Bluebird

Beautiful bluebird day for skijoring!
Wide angle shot showing Breckenridge Ski Resort, blue skies and the snow covered Rocky
Mountains on each side of the ski resort. Pretty day!
Same shot as above, but cropped narrower to showcase the runs of Breckenridge Ski Resort across the valley from us.
Trotting along taking in the nice views!
In addition to nice views, we found some nice stretches of untouched powder to enjoy and lay fresh tracks:
Fresh snow all to ourselves. Wheeee we go gliding through the powder!
In addition to nice views and fresh powder, we found some packed terrain to open the throttle:
Topping 20 MPH as we fly along in a packed tire track. We are on a forest service road that
is open to 4WD vehicles until there is too much snow to drive (and then it is still open
to sled dogs and snowmobiles).

A beautiful bluebird day with some stunning views, some untouched powder and some packed sprint tracks: 8.1 miles traveled with 900 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 20 MPH.

2016/2017 Season to Date: 25 days on the trails covering 184.1 miles with 18250 feet of elevation climbed.
