Perfect

Look at the PERFECT conditions high atop Rabbit Ears Pass this morning!
Laying fresh tracks in about 2 inches of fresh snow with a beautiful bright sun showcasing
the endless trail and snow covered trees all around us!
Today's video highlight comes from a great stretch along the trail today. We are flying in and out of shade and sun with a tall snow wall to our right. Great conditions and great snowpack!
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

Our favorite viewpoint from this section of Rabbit Ears:
"Look at all of Colorado below us!" say my partners taking it all in.

It was -3F at the trailhead with a blowing wind. Some would think that is cold, some would not...
"Must roll snow angels to cool off!" says silly Max. I, on the other hand, was wearing every
single piece of "cold weather gear" that I own!

Beautiful day, beautiful conditions, a tad chilly for the human but PERFECT for the Siberians: 9 miles traveled with 700 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 22 MPH.

2016/2017 Season to Date: 36 days on the trails covering 269.7 miles with 27,450 feet of elevation climbed.
