Kick

Kicking up Powder on Baldy Mountain this Morning - Wheeee!
Kicking up powder behind Max & Zorro with a glimpse of my left ski swooshing
through the powder too.
Baldy is probably our favorite "powder run". When there is a good amount of fresh snow, Max & Zorro will haul me up the steep Baldy Trail and then we will uncork the skijor engine to fly back down the powder. Such fun!

Today's video clip - you guessed... Kicking up Powder as we fly down the main Baldy Trail! I love watching my left ski mostly "in track" behind the trail Max & Zorro are setting and also watching my right ski "out of track" swooshing through the powder!
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

A fun time had by all...
"Beautiful day!" exclaims happily snow covered Zorro. It was snowing & blowing with
breaking trail in deep snow; thus the "snow covered Zorro" :)

"Yes, love the Baldy 'tow up' then 'fly down'!" exclaims happy Max.

We did a short outing on Baldy this morning. An aerobic climb up with a "kicking up powder" sprint down: 5.1 miles traveled with 1200 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 20 MPH.

2016/2017 Season to Date: 31 days on the trails covering 228.8 miles with 23,500 feet of elevation climbed.
