Pre Stretches

Fun shot of happy Jack & Rudy concluding yesterday morning's skijor with onlooking Zorro in the foreground:

"HI!!!!!!" says cute Rudy flashing a smile towards Zorro.

Most runners do some sort of "pre stretching" before starting a day's run. Did you ever wonder what Jack & Rudy's pre stretch routine consists of? Well, here it is:

Yep, snow angels! We have not yet started the day's run and this is
what the goofballs do to warmup and stretch :)
"Hey, we ARE extending and stretching, just unusual technique!" declares the goofs.

It is really quite comical that the goofball twins do these "pre run snow angel stretches" almost every outing. Quite the entertaining pair :)

It was a great morning to exercise ourselves running up & down Walton Peak at Rabbit Ears Pass yesterday morning. Here's a great shot of "Jack the missile" and "Rudy the cannonball" high up on Walton Peak:

Zipping along! Wheeee!

Now for a video counterpart to the prior photo. Come along for a glimpse of the fun, albeit a bit slick, ride along Walton Peak:

Finally, after flashing smiles at Zorro to end the run, it's time to join with Zorro for 'end of run' treats:

"You have our full attention!" declares the fun trio.

Great morning for a 7.7 mile run up/down Walton Peak with 700 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 21 MPH.

2020/2021 Season to Date: 26 days on the trails covering 198.5 miles with 17,300 feet of elevation climbed.
