All Ours

Snow yesterday lead to fresh tracks all over the place today!
"Really!!! We get all this untouched terrain to ourselves?!?" exclaim the happy pair
as we turned off an existing set of tracks to find endless terrain in front of us!

It was a gorgeous morning with miles & miles of laying fresh tracks all over the trails!
"Hurry, hurry - have to get the fresh snow to ourselves!" say the happy huskies
laying fresh tracks in the bright sun.
Endless untouched terrain today - wheeee!
"No, seriously - all to ourselves?!?" states giddy Max giving me an approving
glance without breaking stride!
Still cruising, still laying fresh tracks as we trot atop a drainage wall.
This is not a road to our left, but a drainage channel once the snow starts to melt. All this
snow has to melt into some sort of drainage control. "We've seen this channel in June and it
is not pretty!" says water averse Zorro :-)

A great day laying fresh tracks to exercise the bones all over the terrain...
"Whew, what fun - cool off break!" demonstrate the snow angel rolling pair at one of our
two quick breaks during the day.

Trails all to ourselves today covering 8 miles with 950 feet of elevation climbed and a stop speed of 23 MPH.

2013/2104 Season to Date: 125 days in the trails covering 1079.1 miles with 125,050 feet of elevation climbed.
