A Great Time running the trails with dog sled teams from Good Times Adventures today.
Running the trails with one of the 8-dog teams with our friend Wes as the tour guide - wheeee! |
Today's video clip shows how much fun Max & Zorro have running with the sled teams from Good Times. The video proceeds as follows: (1) we sprint along the trail as the sled team starts to come into view; (2) I start snowplowing to slow us down so that we do not overtake the sled team; (3) we open the throttle again once we give the team an adequate head start; (4) we encounter "bodies on the trail" as the dog team dumped the two mushers riding in the sled - hehe, so much fun!

Unfortunately the Jeep got a flat tire on the way home. So today's blog is short & sweet as we need to get the Jeep trail worthy for tomorrow.
"Yes we are having a GREAT time at Good Times!" state the happy pair looking back at me at one of our turnaround points of the day. |
A great time running 10.7 miles with 900 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 22 MPH. Off to fix the Jeep for trail running tomorrow....
2014/2015 Season to Date: 77 days on the trails covering 666.1 miles with 70,600 feet of elevation climbed.
