Yay Snow
Happy to report that most of this morning skijor footage was blurred by actively falling snow covering the GoPro. But, I did get a few fun shots when I'd wipe the camera clear...
Love shots of Max & Zorro FLYING along the trails. Such incredible, synchronized form!
Today's short video clip goes along with the prior photo. I had just wiped the camera clear and was able to capture this short "fast & fun" video. Notice the snowflakes falling around us and you can see "snow spots" starting to appear on the camera as we fly along. Wheeee!
Paused to wipe the camera clear once again and look what I found to greet me!
"We are having the BEST time today!" exclaim my super happy partners.
The white spots you can see against Zorro's black fur are snowflakes (same with Max, but
it's a little harder to see against his lighter fur).
At our midpoint break, wiped the camera clear again to capture this "role reversal":
"Aaahhh, rub-a-dub-dub, rolling snow angels to cool off!" demonstrates silly Zorro.
"Really, how long must we stop for such silly antics?" asks 'all-business' Max.
Max, of course, is known for his frequent snow angel rolls instead of Zorro - role reversal.
Fun & fast day running in active snowfall: 8.4 miles traveled with 900 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 24 MPH.
2016/2017 Season to Date: 74 days on the trails covering 593.8 miles with 63,800 feet of elevation climbed.
