The "spring crust" was incredible up high at Vail Pass this morning. Just ask Max:
"Wheeee little bro! So nice up here!" declares Max to Zorro as we fly along the spring crust. "I'm flooring it, I'm flooring it!" says 'all business' Zorro determined to keep up with fast Max :) |
We had a nice flirt session with a group of skiers leaving the huts:
"Hi dude! You need skis!" says Max stopping to flirt with the first snowshoer. "I'll take the second one again!" declares Zorro going past the first to interact with the second. |
Synchronized & airborne hover huskies. Showing a pair of hover huskies can look impressive in overcast conditions too! |
Fun day climbing to the huts, flirting with the hutters and then flying around the spring crust above the huts. Wheeee: 8.8 miles traveled with 1000 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 22 MPH.
2016/2017 Season to Date: 147 days on the trails covering 1232.3 miles with 131,100 feet of elevation climbed.
