Another fun day playing chase with the dog sled teams from Good Times Adventures.
"We LOVE this network of trails!" state the happy pair having a blast all day! |
We had 4 different stretches of "chase" over the course of the day. Here we are behind one of the 8 dog teams from Good Times waiting to start a new game of follow the leader. Yes, Max is "up in the air" as he was so excited to get the game going that he could not contain himself. He was a wooing bucking bronco trying to get the game going (and getting the 8 dog team talking & ready to go as well :-)
"Let's goooooo! I can't sit still!!!!" sings Max the bucking bronco! |
Here is a great video of one our chase episodes. Note that you do not see a dog sled team when the video starts. Before this clip, we saw a team go by on the trail and I waited for 30 seconds before releasing Max & Zorro to start the game. We are flying down the trail and eventually catch the 8 dog team! As we get too close, I pull Max & Zorro to the left onto a little uphill side trail to give the dog sled another head start before we take off to catch them again. Wheeee!
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]
No outing to the trails by Good Times is complete without our obligatory shot of us flying by the SLOW sign near the trailhead. In this shot we are playing chase again as you can see another 8 dog team from Good Times just ahead of us on the trail.
Zoom! All sled dogs fly by SLOW signs! |
