Short and Sweet

Only time for a "short & sweet" fun run up & down Baldy Mountain this morning!
"We sure are having fun! But aren't you turning us around a bit early?!?" ask my happy
partners at an 'earlier than usual' call to turnaround from the silly human.
The unnecessary human had morning meetings and afternoon chores to fill the day. So Max & Zorro got ripped off this morning as we (or I) only had time for a short run. But we did make the most of it:
I was kneeling at our turnaround point (I usually kneel to talk to Max & Zorro before restarting)
and got this fun "low angle snow angel" photo of the silly pair. Temperatures were in the single
digits with a stiff wind - enough to make a Siberian hot enough to cool off with snow angels!
We were on Baldy Mountain so this, of course, meant we get some uncorked & speeding skijoring done:
Flying along behind my fast tow trucks!

After a short outing yesterday (due to extreme weather [to the human]) and a short outing today (again due to silly commitments from the unnecessary human), I certainly owe Max & Zorro a serious outing tomorrow!

Short & sweet Baldy Mountain fun run: 7.1 miles traveled with 800 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 22 MPH.

2016/2017 Season to Date: 98 days on the trails covering 809.8 miles with 87,500 feet of elevation climbed.
