Sled Dog Fun

Having fun with the dog sled teams from Good Times Adventures today!
"Hi buddies!" say Max & Zorro to the team paused on the trail as we trot by.
"Hello to you too!" sang the team to us as we went by.

We love running the trails with Good Times. Max & Zorro have so much fun interacting with the teams (as do the teams enjoy interacting with them). It is also entertainment for the tourists on the dog sled tours to see this crazy human doing it on skis instead of a sled!
Another team paused to the right as we trot by and exchange pleasantries again.
This team was really singing as we cruised by :)
Flying along the perfect terrain as we spotted a team far ahead of us. We did not catch this
team; but we sure tried!

Finally, the most fun we have on the trails with the dog sled teams. Watch as we spotted a team paused just around the corner from us. This team was restarting as we spotted them, so it was pedal to the metal for Max & Zorro as we got in a good team of "chase and catch". Watch as the team comes more & more into view in the video until we are close enough that I need to slow Max & Zorro down (the trail was not wide enough to attempt a pass :)
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

Running with the dog teams is a blast. What else could possibly add to this great time? How about moose?!? We encountered moose tracks going along the trail until the tracks drifted off. The tracks were apparently very fresh and the moose still nearby as Max & Zorro had to pause to inspect the trees. We did not see the actual moose, but it was certainly nearby!
"Our noses say 'FRESH MOOSE' to the left!" exclaim excited Max & Zorro.

A great time frolicking with the dog teams from Good Times with a little moose entertainment to add to the fun! 10.7 miles traveled with 1000 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 23 MPH.

2015/2016 Season to Date: 47 days on the trails covering 399.7 miles with 42200 feet of elevation climbed.
