Action

A lot of fun action on this morning's skijor!

Come along for the fun!!!

The shade makes this photo kind of dark; but it's still a really cool
action shot of fast & airborne Jack & Rudy. Zoom!

We spent the morning on the single track side trails and super wide nordic trails in & around Gold Run Nordic Center. The nordic stretches were groomed this morning and lightning fast for the kids. Wheeee!

Jack & Rudy catching air on the perfect nordic groom!

The single track "side trails" were just about as fun as the wide nordic trails. Maybe even more fun :)

Zipping along a deep single track that is perfectly 2 Siberians Wide.

Then, when your teammates are "4 year old kids", you get unapproved action during the day too :) Jack just rolled an impromptu snow angel off trail to the right of this photo. Always goofy Rudy is challenging Jack's entrance back onto the trail. Meanwhile, the human (ME) is looking at the perfect groomed trail in front of us that we SHOULD be skijoring on... Oh those kids!

"Snow angel done, coming back on trail!" says comical Jack.
"Can't get by ME!" replies goofy Rudy.
"Sigh!" said the poor human waiting for the antics to subside...

Back to the real action with today's video highlight. I love this action clip showing 3 degrees of skijoring with my pals: 1) zipping along a wide nordic trail; 2) dropping single file onto a narrow connector trail; and 3) lining back up to zip along a groomed single track. That's a lot of action in one 60 second clip!!!

Great action today, right guys?

"Woo Bet!!!!" replies always wooing Rudy.
"I'm action jackson!" adds fun Jack :)

Finally, as always, reliving the day as we enjoy 'end of run' treats with retired mentor Zorro:

"We ALL see the treat bag - dish them out!" says the trio focusing on
the bag in my hands!

A wonderful day of action on the trails: 10.8 miles traveled with 900 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 24 MPH.

2021/2022 Season to Date: 108 days on the trails covering 906.8 miles with 85,600 feet of elevation climbed.
