Perfect

Absolutely PERFECT conditions to skijor Rabbit Ears Pass this morning!
Wow - perfect conditions as far as the eye can see as we zoom along the snowmobile trail!

We took our favorite "fast track" at Rabbit Ears this morning. This trail is fast because it has very little elevation pitches; it is pretty much rolling to flat terrain for miles and miles and miles!
Synchronized "sprint tuck" as we roll along for miles and miles!

We always suspected it; but now we have visual proof that Zorro really can fly!
I am riding behind Max as he is kicking up powder in the snowmobile track.
Zorro, on the other hand, put himself on the "fresh tracks shoulder" and demonstrated what
we all suspected - he really can fly!!!

You get the idea from the previous 3 photos - a perfect fast track at Rabbit Ears this morning, watch a short video clip to see for yourself:
[watch on youtube if no video loads below]

Eventually I had to call out "wait, time to turn around"....
"You sure? I could go all day!" says questioning Max.
"No, no - go farther!" expresses shocked Zorro.

Well, if you insist on turning around then hold on a second for...
"Rolling snow angels to cool off!" performs silly Max.
"Eating snowcones to cool off first!" demonstrates funny Zorro.

A fast day on perfect conditions covering 9.3 miles with 700 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 24 MPH.

2015/2016 Season to Date: 26 days on the trails covering 216.0 miles with 22050 feet of elevation climbed.
