Zoom Day

A "pedal to the metal" zoom day on Vail Pass this morning!
Beautiful shot of the out-stretched, sprinting Siberians towing me along the trail - wheeee!

The terrain at Vail Pass was in perfect condition this morning. The main trails are marked and now full of snow until May - yay!
A wide angle shot showing white as far as the eye can see. The orange poles you see are the
winter trail markers. Everything is marked and open for fast runs. Zoom, zoom zoom!

Near our high point of the day and, you guessed it: zoom, zoom zoom! :)
Flying along the trail & hitting 23 MPH as a top speed today!

Here is a rare shot... At our quick "turnaround break" and it is Zorro (not Max) rolling a snow angel to cool off before restarting.
"See, it's not just Max - I can roll snow angels too!" demonstrates fun Zorro.

Back at the parking lot to end our 9.2 mile run. How was it?
"I had a GREAT time!" exclaims happy Max.

A fast & fun day touring around Vail Pass: 9.2 miles traveled with 900 feet of elevation climbed and a top speed of 23 MPH.

2015/2016 Season to Date: 30 days on the trails covering 251.0 miles with 25850 feet of elevation climbed.
